Why we wrote the book

Traditional reputation management strategies are becoming outdated. Strategies like public relations, press releases, social media curation, and unfavorable content suppression and removal are not nearly as effective or relevant as they used to be.

Over the course of his 26-year career online, Scott has helped to architect and build over 40 different software products and services, and in 2006, one of his first software companies became a driving force behind StomperNet, one of the largest internet launches in history.

DJ Sprague is the CMO for Shopper Approved and co-author of “Reputation King”. He regularly presents webinars on SEO and CRO for Search Engine Journal, Search Engine Land, Search Marketing Expo, and Practical Ecommerce. 

DJ has over 30 years of experience in enterprise sales, marketing, advertising, and PR, on both the agency and client side, online and offline, including Fortune 500 global brands, such as Toyota, Hyundai, Kodak, and JD Power. As well as sports brands including the NBA, MLS, and NASCAR.

He is a Cialdini-Certified Ethical Influence Practitioner and Coach and has received behavioral design certifications from the Online Influence Institute, the Behavioral Design Academy, and the Mindworx Academy.
